VIRTUAL Pumpkin Plod 10k run / 5k walk, 45th Annual!
November 26 @ 8:00 am - 10:40 am
This 45th annual Highland Pumpkin Plod!
This is now a virtual event only!
11/20/20 – The Highland Park & Recreation Board has decided to cancel this year’s live race out of an abundance of caution with the COVID-19 situation in Lake County and the governor’s latest executive order. THIS WILL NOW BE A VIRTUAL EVENT. Register, run the distance on your own and enter your time through your runsignup.com account. Shirts will still be available for pickup on Wednesday, 11/25 from 2-9:45pm or subsequently at the Lincoln Community Center office through the end of December.
We hope that you consider participating in this virtual experience to help support your Parks & Recreation Department that has facilitated 44 years of Thanksgiving Day memories (and because we have close to 1,000 shirts that still need homes!). Full refunds are still available through Monday, 11/23, minus the processing fee. This is done by users directly through runsignup.com. As a loyalty bonus, everyone enrolled in the virtual event will be granted a discount on next year’s race!
